The information will be kept confidential and only reviewed by The Sylas Project staff and the Survival Swim Instructor. The data collected by The Sylas Project is kept private and secure in accordance with HIPAA laws. We use secure sites and forms to collect all data, as well as secure servers to store the data. ISR will never distribute or give out any personal or medical information. At no time is ISR allowed to share that medical information with a third party, which is in accordance with HIPAA laws.

Non Discrimination Policy

The Sylas Project, Inc complies with all federal and state laws and regulations and does not unlawfully discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, gender, age, religion or disability. It is the policy of The Sylas Project to provide reasonable accommodations to its disabled applicants and students, with the provision of appropriate documentation of the need for the accommodation.

Survival Swim Scholarship

The Sylas Project Survival Swim Scholarship eligibility is based on income
per household size and reason for not being able to afford lessons and eligibility requirements listed on the scholarship page ("https://www.thesylasproject.org/scholarship"). This information is kept confidential in accordance with HIPAA laws. The information will be kept confidential and only reviewed by The Sylas Project staff and Survival Swim Instructors.

Social Media or Third Party Sites

The Sylas Project, Inc uses social media and third party sites to provide The Sylas Project, Inc content in a different format that may be useful or interesting to you. When we use these sites, the information we provide is consistent with the intended purpose of the The Sylas Project, Inc website. Please be aware that the privacy protection provided on social media and third party sites that are not a part of the thesylasproject.org domain may not be the same as the privacy protection described here.

Donations

The Sylas Project, Inc uses a third party site "Donately" to accept donations. All donations go towards our mission of preventing accidental drowning in children. The leading cause of death in children ages 1-4. Donations via the "Donately" third party website will not be used for any operation cost.
